Personal data collected
Simply browsing the site collects no personal data. Data is processed only if you make a donation:
your name and email address;
your phone number, only if you enter it (Mobile Money);
the donation amount and its transaction reference.
HUMURA never sees or stores your bank card or Mobile Money details: they are entered directly on our payment provider’s secure page.
What this data is used for
To process and confirm your donation.
To send you a receipt by email.
If you ticked the relevant box, to send you the annual report.
To meet our accounting and transparency obligations towards our donors and the authorities.
We never sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Technical partners
Flutterwave : payment processing (card, Mobile Money, bank transfer). Your payment data is subject to its own privacy policy.
Resend : sending receipts by email, when this option is enabled.
Hostinger : hosting of the site.
The site’s server only keeps technical data: the list of transaction references already processed (to avoid sending duplicate receipts) and a temporary counter of attempts per IP address, hashed and erased after a few minutes, intended to limit abuse.
Retention period
Donation information is kept for as long as needed for the organisation’s accounting and audits, then deleted or anonymised. You can unsubscribe from the annual report at any time.
